Priestess of the Moon Training
Current Circle 2025-26
For thousands of years ceremonies took place in sacred sites overseen by Priestesses and Priests of the Living Light. This lineage, that was also found in Scotland, is being reintroduced through The ISIS School of Holistic Health Ltd. The ceremonies and teachings take women into a magical journey of self-empowerment and deep realisation of their inherent gifts.
The Celtic Goddesses and spirits of the land welcome back the women who open their heart to their deep connection, ancestral wisdom and magic.

This is the path of the inner mystic, where the cauldron represents the womb. In its dark waters we read the omens. Inside our bodies is the void out of which new life, new possibilities, and new realities are born. The women weave the old and the new under the subtle and powerful energy of the moon.
The Teachers of the Course – Fotoula and Fi
Fotoula Adrimi – in 2012 whilst connecting with the prehistoric sites and standing stones in Kilmartin, the ancient spirits invited Fotoula to share their teachings. Fotoula then channelled the entire Priestess of the programme and ceremonies from them.

Fotoula has also been working shamanically in Glasgow since 2006 and is a teacher of shamanism, trained by Sandra Ingerman. She is a member of the Global Shamanic Teachers Network. In 2024 Sandra invited Fotoula to be her assistant for the Advanced Shamanic Practitioner Training. Fotoula also works with Himalayan Shaman Bhola Banstola and has a wealth of other qualifications.

Fi Sutherland is an advanced therapeutic counsellor and life coach specialising in personal and spiritual development. Fi has been walking her spiritual path for over 30 years and has been facilitating a weekly Meditation and Chanting Circle since 2011. She has studied with western and indigenous shamans and spiritual teachers and has a Degree in Psychology.
In 2007 Fi made a commitment to follow her heart and this took her on an amazing adventure, culminating in a near-death experience in Peru in 2009, which describes in her book – Coming Home – awakening through the stillness into the living light. Fi creates a safe, sacred space, bringing together the deep healing of the shadow self and the intuitive work of the spiritual, wise self.

Fotoula's first encounter with Hecate in 2005 opened her own connection with the moon. She saw herself in a circle of women, all dressed in black, chanting and calling the primordial cosmic mother. Hekate spoke of being the ancient Crone Goddess, found in many lands around Europe under various names. In Scotland she is known as the Cailleach Bheur. This fleeting vision opened Fotoula’s path to ancestral healing, self empowerment, and deep ceremonial work. Fotoula facilitated the first Priestess of the Moon Circle in 2012. Since then many women have entered this cauldron. The Goddess is calling for another circle of women to gather and enter this ceremonial space of learning.
This is a two-year Training programme, encompassing personal and spiritual development, through practices and ceremonies that you can incorporate into your own spiritual work and share with others in your community.
Once participants complete the Priestess Training, they may wish to create their own Temple of the Moon and hold ceremonies for the benefit of themselves and their community. However, as the Temple is always within us, this course can also be completed as part of of your ongoing spiritual development.
The Priestess Training Programme
The Priestess of the Moon Training is based on the Celtic Pagan tradition but at the same time, adopts a cross-cultural approach. During the course we explore ancient traditions of the Goddess and female priesthood from different cultures around the Earth, such as ancient Greek, ancient Egyptian, Shamanic, Native American and Himalayan.

Participants can find their own representation of the Goddess in whatever way is suitable for them and their beliefs.

The Priestess Training begins with an Initiation in a Stone Circle of the Sun and Moon, an ancestral place of power, where we make the commitment to walk the Path of the Priestess and support each other as women co-creating a Circle of Sisterhood. We bring our gifts into the world and sharing them with All.

The Course will teach you how to hold Ceremony for yourself, the circles of people who will come to you, and the people who wish to go through Rites of Passage. During the two years we share the Priestess of the Moon Ceremonies:

-
the Sun Festivals – the equinoxes and solstices, and the Fire Festivals – Imbolc, Beltana, Lammas, Samhain;
-
the different phases of the Moon – the dark moon, new moon, waxing moon, full moon, waning moon;
-
Ancestral healing ceremonies;
-
Womb Rites – womb healing and activation;
-
Naming ceremony – for babies and adults;
-
Funeral service;
-
Sacred Marriage to the higher self;
-
Hand Fasting Ritual;
-
Working with the Fae and spirits of the land;
-
And many other ceremonies and teachings.
