When we are in situations where we feel insecure, fearful, uncomfortable, out of control or that we are not coping, we may experience stress. Stress is an automatic response that is both inherent in our body, as well as something that we pick up from others. Whilst some level of stress is beneficial, on-going exposure
to stressful situations, can have a detrimental effect on our physical, mental and emotional well-being.
In a stress management session, we help you develop strategies that allow you to cope better with what is happening. We also examine the situations that may be causing you difficulty.
The School adopts a holistic approach to stress management, drawing from the different disciplines practiced. The sessions are tailored to the needs of the client and may include relaxation techniques, counselling, hypnotherapy, healing and energy work. Issues with stress usually derive from underlying problems and for the therapeutic process to be beneficial, deeper work may be necessary.
