The ISIS School Retreats & Pilgrimages – 2020
Shamanic Retreat: The Medicine Walk Rite
Residential Retreat: 29 May - 01 June
Nature and Mother Earth become the teacher as we step through the veil and turn into the wandering spirit. The physical reality in the wild holds a mirror for us to look deeper into our soul and ask important questions, such as: ‘Where am I in my life? What is my threshold? Who have I become? Who am I beyond my thoughts about myself?’
Apart from seeking answers to self-enquiry questions, the wild is a gate into the mystery, the Great Spirit. Spirit guidance manifests through the trees that call to us, the animals and birds that cross our path, the plants we meet, and the rocks we sit on.
Bhola Banstola, a Nepalese Shaman, will be teaching his indigenous healing and mystical traditions in Central Scotland. Prerequisites: A working knowledge of shamanic journeying is required. Fotoula offers in-depth workshops in shamanism and shamanic journeying, in Glasgow. Please contact her directly for details: [email protected]

Pilgrimage to Nepal and Tibet – 18 August-08 September 2020
A pilgrimage of spiritual rebirth
We walk the path of the spiritual practitioner visiting ancient power points and sacred spaces in Nepal and Tibet.
Our journey is the quest of the spiritual seeker, who surrenders to the spiral of life, follows the etheric energy of the land, practises teachings of inner transformation and strengthens the connection to their spirit and Divine power.
This is a journey we walk together as a group as well as individually, integrating the qualities of the enlightened mind through meditation, mantra practice, visualisation, shamanic ritual and ceremony.
We will practice and share ancient teachings through story, Buddhist and sanskrit philosophy, mala practice and ancient Himalayan shamanism, to seek deeper understanding and open the gate for spiritual rebirth.
The pilgrimage is co-facilitated by Fotoula Adrimi, The ISIS School of Holistic Health, and Nepalese
